Spirit that is within,
be with me now as the Sun returns to the world
with the passage of this, the longest night.
This turn of the wheel brings the renewal of light and life without,
so be it within
winter solstice dawned a beautiful blue clear sky.. by mid afternoon - it was blowing a gale coming off icy snow somewhere out west. so my plans to meditate at Katoomba were thwarted..
the garden here at Villa Maria is abundant - lots of mustard greens, chicory & curly endive. .. and oranges.
and mustard greens - shredded and waiting to be lightly steamed - then served with Guinness and Beef Casserole - a Daisy recipe.
and trying to coax the magick into my garden at Villa Maria and some sunshine into my soul.

You still have oranges on your trees! I would never have thought they would grow this late in the season. And mustard greens....I love greens. Yum!!
Bringing warmth of the summer solstice in Georgia to you and your garden.
~brightest blessings~
Those greens and oranges look scrumptious. Blessings to you, my friend, on this, your Winter Solstice.

A very happy Winter solstice to you my friend. I love the pictures. The oranges look great.
Daisy's recipe sounds wonderful.
Have a wonderful day.
oranges dipped in sunshine - I like the sound of that!
Winter solstice blessings to you! May your spirit expand with the growing sunlight every day!
winter solstice blessings to you Robyn as we celebrated our summer solstice here. I spent the day in glastonbury, and it was lovey.
Love light and blessings, Leanne x
ooo I could do with some of that sunshine - it's cold here
I've been catching up... your garden is looking fine; I think your magick is working.
I especially liked the "little person" in Katoomba -- he reminds me of a leprechaun.

The garden at Villa Maria is bountiful!
I hope you enjoyed your casserole, sounds perfect for a Winter meal.
Hugs

tis magical garden :) the sunshine will return. Solstice blessings sweetheart x x x
I sent illuminated magical solstice thoughts to you. Hope you feel the warmth of the light.
Hasn't it been icy!! Would love to see more of your lovely garden Robyn. Daughter has been delivering bags of oranges to us from two laden trees where she is housesitting. There's nothing like produce straight from the garden - and freshly-squeezed orange juice!
Your oranges sound and look wonderful. Daisy's stew sounds pretty good too!
I hope your soul finds the sunshine it needs...
Winter soltice passed me by, though maybe not as I noticed a nice change on Wednesday, I drove to work with a joyful feeling in my torso. I took notice of the feeling it was towards my abdomen, where dread usually shows up in the region of my stomach. I've been starting and ending the work day with Lucy Cavendish As Above, So Below meditation. Love it.
I've been wanting to make the trek to Katoomba, am going tomorrow. Wasn't able to go last week, a real pity.
I am so glad you are sounding better than my last visit here, the recent sunshine has done wonders for us.
I want to pick oranges, crunch some salad greens and sip some red wine with you
i love the way you walk your days.
heart cracked open and willing as bright fruit hanging in the seasons of life....
collecting the light and wonder of it all.
