I took a walk outside this morning. windy. actually very windy. once upon a time in our backyard there must have been a big tree. all that is left is a stump and each winter, [well, the two winters that I have been here] these little snow drops pop up.. and I saw the stump where Joe has started to try to dig it out. a heart. !! all is well in my world here at Villa Maria. the stump will stay just as it is.. maybe with some intitials carved into it.
I have never visited the Kimberleys.. all I know is it is up the top of west Australia. an ancient, ancient area.. where powerful Ley lines run.. ley lines that actually run through where I live.. connected to Glastonbury. It is a similar place I believe to Uluru and Kata Tjuta where I visited last year.
Red. Wise. Ancient. energies.
it is along way from where I live - not much I can do physically.
it would be easy for me to slip into despondency and helplessness..
I can't go to protest although I would love to.
But I can send healing to Mother Earth once again.. join me
&
I can create a peace flag. I have an idea using wax, fabric and natural dyes.. just an idea but
from little things, big things grow...

I love the new look here. Actually, there is far too little respect for the sacred places. Just look at Tara. What could be more sacred than that in Ireland? And the Glastonbury Thorn. Whatever possesses someone to chop such a sacred tree down?

A peace flag is a great way to focus and transmit your healing powers. (Love the blog makeover, by the way. "one little robyn" -- cute!)
love your heart shaped tree stump that shall remain a constant reminder
that villa maria is home, sweet home.
i too have been ruminating on making prayer flags...i will be watching you with great interest!
xoxoxoxoxox,

sorry i haven't been by in a while. i've been a slack blogger lately due to health issues but i'm trying to catch up where i can.
this saddens me too. man seems to have no respect at all for mother earth and the beautiful creatures that inhabit her. unfortunately, man is more driven by progress and the almighty dollar. :(
i believe we can make a difference by sending healing and positive prayers out into the universe.
i think keeping the tree stump is a touching way to honour nature.
love that tune - from little things....I do love the new fresh look of your blog Robyn!
oh robyn it is so depressing~we have a local campaign here with the council wanting to extract gravel from a large area of beautiful forest and then fill the hole with landfill :(
i love the idea of such a long connecting ley line.
our little 'round house' sits right in the middle of the belinus line, which is the longest in this country and another, both which come from the isle of wight and they converge with many others at the beckhampton longstones which is part of the avebury henge :)
i have dowsed our garden and there are two spirals of energy there.
This is so important - seems on a scale with the Franklin River protests Robyn which started out small and grew rapidly. There was lots at stake there, but here even more so. Let's hope this protest reaches gigantic proportions.
The stump looks wonderful. What a great idea to leave it loike it is.
Such sad news that something so ancient might be destroyed.
The peace flag is a great idea. I'd love to see how you make it !!
Have a great day.
loving the new look here especially the header with your pics :) the prayer flag sounds perfect x x x
Robyn,Thanks for mentioning that wee little things are actually gigantic. Prayers for our trees and mountains and all of our sacred earth. Hmmm an earth healing prayer flag using beeswax and maybe vegetable dye. Sounds like a great idea Robyn. Hope you will show us a tutorial and we can make one too. Maybe a trade?
A new look to go with your new life force of knowing what you don't want and working on what you do want.
This place seems optimistic and happy, whereas your old look always made me feel despondent as if you were trapped in a difficult place. So to come here now and see this bright place feels so much better that you are in and continuing to feel your way through the clouds.
I'm ready for the prayer flag making, never made one before, lead the way!

The Earth needs our love and healing Robyn, little things DO make a difference

Do you think Joe did it on purpose? Left a heart shaped stump just for you to find.
Peace Flag sounds like a great idea.
