ginger nut biscuits and other such things...

grateful for

my spiritual journey

ginger nut biscuits

the early morning rain bringing a coolness that you only experience in summer, the mists rolling in.. mists of the ancestors.. celtic sacredness

my gorgeous new [old] lounge suite

being able to meditate in my very own little room, where Angels hang out

these and more
bring contentment and harmony to my day.

what brings contentment and harmony into your day?

Very much on my mind and easily lost and then refound. It has been quite a day for depression, resurrection, exhileration, and joy.

Contentment flowering up from a frosty morning today as I hear a blackbird singing when I wake up, and see the first snowdrops and a handful of plucky early crocuses in sheltered places...

my day comes in swings and roundabouts. Sometimes joy, sometimes sadness. I get great joy from the beauty of nature and sometimes its hard to find that in Southern California,

I'm content when I'm in the studio with the sun streaming in the window and my kitty purring beside me.

I had just finished munching down some gingernut biscuits for afternoon tea when I spotted your post title in my sidebar. lol

When the weather is nice and I'm playing in my studio, when I'm holding my new granddaughter in my arms, quality time with my kids, strolling in nature, enjoying a nice hot cuppa, reading a good book, listening to music, meditating....all of these things make me happy and content.

When I take walks by the sea, or when I'm enjoying a cup of tea in the afternoon while I reflect on my day. Those are just two sweet moments of contentment that fill my day.
